Senior DevOps Engineer

Hatica is a venture-backed fast growing SaaS startup focussed on building an engineering analytics platform to help development teams drive productivity, alignment and well-being. Experience - 3 to 6 years

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is an expert in driving and scaling AWS and Kubernetes based cloud-native infrastructure. We are looking for engineers who work like owners as you will be tasked with leading the development and scaling of Hatica’s core infrastructure platform. You will work with experienced engineers, SRE experts on a modern cloud-native infrastructure powered by technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Postgres, Clickhouse, Elasticsearch, Github Actions, NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus more

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Hatica’s cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes
• Drive infrastructure through automation and Infra-as-code (Terraform)
• Own, extend and maintain the our CI/CD pipelines and micro-service deployments to enable teams to build reliably and faster
• Design and implement strategies to boost developer productivity with modern DevOps practices, better infrastructure and automation
• Setup and maintain monitoring systems based on NewRelic, DataDog, Cloudwatch and Grafana
• Own and extend our infra security monitoring systems to ensure our infra is secure and compliant with standards such as SOC2.
• Ensure the infrastructure is secure, reliable, recoverable (disaster, data) and maintained (security patches, tool upgrades, etc.) and highly automated
• Build and maintain automation scripts

Requirements

• BE/BTech in Computer Science and Engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform
• 3+ years of experience with managing Kubernetes clusters
• Strong computer science fundamentals: networking, databases, and distributed systems
• Experience with observability system including logging, monitoring and alerting systems and tools
• Experience of building and maintaining scalable architecture
• Experience with AWS (particularly with EKS)
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines and micro-service deployments
• Good understanding of information security best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages
