Bitbucket Cloud

You can install the Bitbucket OAuth App from the Connections page inside Hatica.

The following scopes are required by us for a successful connection:

  1. pipeline
  2. project
  3. pullrequest
  4. issue
  5. account
  6. webhook

The BitBucket OAuth page on click will show you an error if the account doesn't have required permissions otherwise a page like this will appear asking for permissions to be granted Bitbucket Connector Page

Bitbucket Server

You can follow the following steps to connect your Bitbucket server with Hatica:

  1. Generate your Personal Access Token: Follow Bitbucket's documentation here (opens in a new tab) to create a PAT.

  2. Copy your Domain: Copy the domain of the hosted version of Jira instance. It should be accessible publicly.

    List of permissions required by Hatica via the access token: Project Read, Repository Read
    It is advised to set the PAT expiry to the longest duration for a seamless experience.

  3. Navigate to Connectors Page (opens in a new tab) and select Bitbucket Server.

  4. Enter the earlier gathered information in the form and click Connect.

  5. Once the PAT is verified, the sync will begin.
