Auto Creation of Members

Hatica doesn’t auto-create users who have Git activity but are not from the registered email domain (official email). This helps exclude past employees, contributors to any open-source repositories that might have been cloned into your Git organization, and employees whose Git handles exist but whose email IDs are no longer valid in your system.

In case of Github:

  • The GitHub API provides email IDs unless the user has marked their email as private.
  • If marked private, GitHub returns an email in the format handle@nusers.noreply.github.com.
  • This allows Hatica to map user handles to valid email IDs and create user accounts automatically.
