Involvement
Percentage of team members involved in PR reviews. A high involvement percentage (>80%) is indicative of a self-sufficient team where majority of the team knows the code base. For teams with new members or a designated reviewer, the involvement metric would be lower.
Computation of the metric
- PRs within specified project/team are gathered.
- Participation of each reviewer in PRs determined based on reviewer involvement, these include actions like commenting, approving, suggesting changes, or being listed as a reviewer.
- Reviewer involvement percentage is calculated by dividing their participated PRs by total PRs within the defined set.

- Review Collaboration
Use cases of this metric
- Use the involvement metric to understand & expand the reviewer base - whether reviews are spread evenly across the engineering team or whether there are a select few who are inundated with reviews and others don't get the opportunity to do reviews
